A few weeks ago we were able to take a Saturday & attend a Mommy blogger event at Wet 'N' Wild in PHX. I didn't tell the kids we were going till the morning of. I wanted it to be a surprise!! They always ask to go to water parks in AZ. But we just havent been yet. Sooo we were so excited to be able to go to this event. The kids were so happy & thought we were amazing to be taking them. I love when they are so happy and excited. We left early around 740 because it takes a little over a hour to get there. The kids are always good in the car. So the drive was just fine.
We arrived, checked in and mingled with some friends. They opened the park a hour early. So we could check out a NEW exciting area. It's called Barefootin' Bay!! It's a exciting new upgrade to Wet 'n' Wild Jr. including a new 4,700 square-foot kid's pool, interactive play structure, shade and more lounge chairs in a secluded area just for kids and parents. It it seriously amazing. We all loved it. It is so amazing for kiddos and parents. Everything thing you need is right there. You don't even have to go to the other areas of the park. If you don't want to. The kids had so much fun and so did we. You can even go on the small slides in that area with them. Which was so fun!

Here is some more FUN FACTS on the cute Wet 'N' Wild JR.
** We got a perfect spot & set up. They have chairs and its great! They had 3 mini slides that are great for all ages. You can go with your kids or watch from the side lines. I loved it.
Tiny Typhoon
Perfect for children, Tiny Typhoon will spin riders through a mini funnel before dropping them into the calming waters below.
Screamin' Streamers
A fun and leisurely downhill river rafting ride for the entire family. Riders will experience small turns and slight drops before plunging into the water below.
Banzai Racers
Racing slides for the park's youngest visitors, Banzai Racers allow riders to compete side-by-side on a racing mat before splashing into the water below.
My boys loved all of these rides and Barefootin' Bay so much!! Once we play for about 2 hours in this area. We went and explored the rest of Wet 'N' Wild. It was so fun. Reggie was tall enough to go on every slide. Sooo he was sooo excited about that. We went on some wild ones. Everything was really clean and the lines weren't too bad. I suggest bringing water shoes for everyone in the family. They have cute little shoe holders everywhere in the park too. Its so nice. They also have little life vests you can use too. Pack a lot of water and sun screen! We stayed almost all day! We loved it. Here are some fun pictures from our day! We will definitely be heading back to Wet 'N' Wild again soon.
